Graduation Information

Sunset High School Graduation Ceremonies

Our ceremonies will follow guidance from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and Oregon Department of Education (ODE) in regards to outdoor/indoor entertainment establishments. Washington County is in the lower risk category which means that:

  • Six feet of social distancing is required between parties.
  • Face masks are NOT required outdoors.

Diploma covers are handed out at graduation. Diplomas will be sent in late June, through the mail, to graduates.

Drive-Up Graduation Thursday, June 10, 2021

Graduates are asked to wear their cap and gown.

Graduates and families who are participating in the Drive-Up Graduation on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Sunset High School will enter off Cornell Road Main Entrance and proceed to the bus lane. We ask that families and graduates arrive at their assigned times which were emailed to families on Friday, May 28, 2021

Graduates will exit their car and have their photo taken by Dorian. Graduates will then proceed to the stage where their name will be called and they will walk across the stage to receive their diploma cover. Families of the graduate will pull their car(s) forward and be able to watch their graduate walk across the stage.
